About the Library

The Library of Shri. D. D. Vispute College of Science, Commerce & Management, New Panvel is an integral part of the academic environment. It provides students and faculty with access to books, reference materials, journals, newspapers and digital learning resources. The library promotes reading, self-learning, research and academic development through a student-friendly and supportive learning environment.

Library Timings

Monday to Saturday: 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM
Sunday & Public Holidays: Closed

Timings may be revised during examinations or as per the college schedule.

Issue, Return & Borrowing Rules

1. Students must produce their valid College ID Card while issuing or borrowing books.
2. Books must be returned within the prescribed due date.
3. A book may be renewed, subject to its demand and availability.
4. Reference books, journals, periodicals and other special resources may be used only in the library, as per library rules.
5. Students must check the condition of books at the time of issue and report any damage immediately.
6. Loss or damage of a book will require replacement of the book or payment of the prescribed cost, as decided by the college.
7. Books must not be marked, underlined, torn or otherwise damaged.
8. Students must return all borrowed books before the end of the academic year / as directed by the library.
9. Library users are expected to maintain silence, discipline and cleanliness in the library.
10. The library reserves the right to recall any issued book whenever required for academic purposes.
