📈 Smart Investor Awareness Programme | Financial Literacy & Career Opportunities

The Department of Commerce at Shri. D. D. Vispute College of Science, Commerce and Management, New Panvel successfully conducted a “Smart Investor Awareness Programme” for its students on 14th August 2026, in collaboration with the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).

The programme focused on developing students’ understanding of financial literacy, investment awareness, securities markets, smart investment practices and career opportunities in the financial services and capital market sectors.

Students gained valuable insights into the functioning of the stock market, the importance of informed financial decision-making, risk awareness and responsible investing. The session also highlighted the diverse career pathways available in areas such as stock markets, financial services, investment analysis, banking, wealth management, capital markets and related fields.

The interactive workshop encouraged students to explore the world of finance not only as investors but also as future professionals and entrepreneurs in the rapidly growing financial sector.
